You can be a HERO: Blood Drive

“I give blood because the 15 minutes it takes out of my day to donate, it could be giving someone else a lifetime. I was informed a person needs  a blood donation every two seconds in the United States. And chances are sometime in my life someone I know, if not myself, will need blood. Just in the time it took you to read this 12 people will need blood. I want to do my part in making a difference in my community. There is a need and I have 15 minutes to help save lives.” – Stephanie, Volunteer

“One night while serving at the TreeHouse with a Champions Foundation team, I was talking to a new set of parents to a precious baby as they mentioned how grateful they were for all of the local resources the hospital had. One of the resources they mentioned was the area Cascade Regional Blood Services building one block away. Without them knowing, I had just come from there donating blood. And without me knowing, the donations go directly to the local hospitals including the one their new baby was at. Now I donate as many times as they let me.” – Melissa, Volunteer
